I have more than 30 years management experience. I have managed broadcast stations, news departments, IT departments, grant projects and event coverage.
I believe a manager must provide leadership, clear goals and objectives, effective evaluation and - most importantly - provide an environment in which employees are empowered to succeed.
I believe I am most successful when my employees are successful. Many of the staff I worked with at the Alaska Public Radio Network and Northwest Public Radio consistently won regional and national awards for their work.
